Chickasha Wings History
Mitchell Williams formed Chickasha Wings, Inc. in 2003 to provide airplane rental, and flight instruction at Chickasha
Airport in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  After graduating from Kansas State University in 1985, Mitch moved from Kansas to
work for the power company in Anadarko, Oklahoma. After he married his wife Stacy, whose grandfather flew an F-86 in
Korea - the first jet fighter - Stacy fulfilled her dream of learning to fly.  Buying an airplane was the next logical step for
Mitch and Stacy. Having an addictive personality didn't help keep Mitch in the passenger seat for long, Mitch had to learn
to fly too. After Mitch earned his Private Pilot Certificate, he went on to earn more ratings and became an instructor.
Being involved in helping others realize their dreams of flight, was the final ingredient to an already perfect recipe.

With the goal of safe, low-cost training, the training fleet was expanded to two C150s, a C172, a Piper Twin, and an
Ercoupe-LSA.  Using part-time instructors, a student can go from zero to an airline job in our program.
