The Sport Pilot Ground School is designed to prepare the
sport pilot applicant for the FAA Sport Pilot written exam and
teach the basic concepts of airplane flight.

The course covers an introduction to the airplane and
aerodynamics, aircraft systems, airports, communications
and Air traffic control, weight & balance, meteorology,
Federal Aviation Regulations, aeronautical charts, radio
navigation, flight publications, the flight computer, medical
factors of flight and cross country flight.

Upon graduation from ground school, the student will be
prepared for the FAA Sport Pilot Written Examination.

The course will be given at Chickasha Wings, Inc., offices in
Hangar 4 at Chickasha Municipal Airport. The primary ground
instructor is Dan Powell. Dan is a Pro-Pilot graduate of
Oklahoma University with Certificated Flight and Ground
Instructor ratings.

The Instrument Rating Ground School is designed to prepare
a certificated pilot for the FAA Instrument written exam and
teach the basic concepts of instrument flight.

The course covers an introduction to Airplane Instruments,
Attitude Instrument Flying & Aerodynamics, Navigation
Systems, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airports, Air Traffic
Control, Airspace, holding, Instrument Approaches,
Aeromedical Factors, Aviation Weather & Weather Services,
and IFR En Route Flights.

Upon graduation from ground school, the student will be
prepared for the FAA Instrument Written Examination.

The course will be given at Chickasha Wings, Inc., offices in
Hangar 4 at Chickasha Municipal Airport. The primary ground
instructor is Dan Powell. Dan is a Pro-Pilot graduate of

MULTI-ENGINE / COMMERCIAL

The Multi-Engine / Commercial Rating is an add-on rating for
a Certificated Pilot. Ground School is designed to prepare
the Multi-Engine / Commercial Pilot applicant for the FAA
written exam and teach the basic concepts of Multi-Engine
Airplane flight.

The course covers the Concept of Multi-Engine Flying,
Multi-Engine Systems, Planning and Performance, Preflight
Preparation, Takeoff and Departure, Cruising Flight,
Descents, Approach and Landing, and Preparing for the
Checkride with an FAA Examiner.

Upon completion of Multi-Engine / Commercial Ground
School, the applicant will be prepared for the FAA written
examination.

The course will be given at Chickasha Wings, Inc., offices in
Hangar 4 at Chickasha Municipal Airport. The primary ground
instructor will be your Multi-Engine / Commercial flight
instructor.
